Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was a member and the captain for the Fierce Five team in 2012 and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics, in London. Additionally, she brought her bronze on the balance beam. She became one of the few American to be awarded the most medals at an Olympics. In 2016, the Olympics brought her the gold medal in the team competition, which earned both she as well as Gabby the honor as the first Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. Additionally, she took home two silver medals for the floor and for the individual all-around. It was three years between her last appearance in competition gymnastics. Gold medal winner American team also won the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport since age two, and her favorite event is Floor Exercise. Aly has joined her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandmother. Aly hopes to be fashion-forward and increase her line of socks and leotards in the coming years. Fierce, a new book she is working on will be released later in the year.
